Putting the pirate in Pirate Bay, it seems that TPB fans have taken matter into their own hands regarding the plug being pulled on the torrent-sharing site.

Computer Sweden reports that Black Internet, the ISP that turned off access to TPB is now suffering substantial sabotage.

After Black Internet received word that the Swedish court ordered TPB knocked off the net, the ISP decided to act immediately. And immediately thereafter:

“Our network isn’t working as it should. We are working with the police and technicians to find out what has happened,” said CEO Victor Möller. … Several of Black Internet’s customers resell access, so it’s difficult to gauge how many people have been affected.

“It’s a giant pyramid and we are dealing with substantial damages and large sums,” said Möller.

This is real stuff. Millions of Swedish kronor are at stake and businesses will live or die on getting back online.

Per Wedin, CEO at One Call Support, one of the victims of the sabotage, said the company is looking for another supplier. “We are talking about millions of Swedish kronor,” he said.

Meanwhile, TPB is back online with another ISP, according to Peter Sunde. And the outage from Black Internet really only lasted a number of hours.
